#34 water opacity option
It would be to render block opacity first.
In one video, jeb_ explained that it takes 20bits per block to calculate, and a chunk is 16^3 blocks=4096, so 81920 bits/chunk. If you render only opacity (whether a block is solid or air) it takes only 1 bit/block, so 4096bits /chunk. It means you could see the shapes of the world much further for the same data cost! and it would render 20x faster!
If you’re registered on brohoster, it went down today. But if you type it in google, you will see it’s down forever, as the company crashed. Refunds and backups are unsure.
